Confined to a wheelchair in California? You may be entitled to $4,000 each time you can't use something at a business because of your disability. Some examples are mirrors in restrooms that are mounted too high on the wall to see your reflection; dispensers (paper towel, soap, toilet seat cover, etc.) or clothing hooks that you can't reach because they are mounted too high above the floor; or toilets you can't use because they lack 2 grab (support) bars. You probably run into such problems regularly.

Some Scenarios:

Why Am I Entitled to Money?
While the federal Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 was supposed to make business establishments wheelchair-accessible, many business and real estate owners have ignored it because it doesn't allow the disabled to recover monetary compensation. To force California businesses and landlords to make their facilities wheelchair-accessible, the California legislature enacted the Disabled Persons Act, a law that awards you a minimum $4,000 for each unintentional violation of your civil rights in California.

Our Service.
Our job is to collect the money you're owed from those that discriminated against you. (You should be willing to accept less than $4,000 for your violation if you want to resolve your claim without trial.) We currently accept clients in Los Angeles County, California.

Why Haven't I Heard about This Before?
Not many minorities are aware of their civil rights, especially the disabled. Of course, powerful business and real estate interest groups would like to keep it that way. In fact, year after year, these lobbyists try to repeal this important law.

Free to You.
The law allows us to recover our fees from those who violate your civil rights. You don't pay us.
